Wanted a pour of the recently Kegged flash pilsner. I added water to bring the abv down to under 4%. Well I watered it down too much! Oh well will be refreshing just not real good.

Could you mix it with the Helles when you pour a glass to make it drinkable? Might be a waste of good helles, but then you could drink the flash pilsner keg without dumping it

I thought about that except my current batch of Helles is way too enjoyable to mess with lol. There is one thing I will say about the kit that I just made, you put in a pack of Hallertau at yeast pitch. So basically it’s dry hopped. I guess that’s something else that I was tasting that a little bit of lagering will help.

A good balance of malt body and hop bitterness, leaning towards the bitter as it should. Reminds me of a less-bitter pils but with more mouthfeel.

It was the pilsner one. I put the ingredients in the software. Added extra water to bring the abv and ibu down. Estimates of course. I added too much water. Of course if I’d left it how it was it probably would have been ok. Didn’t want a 5.8% “pilsner”.
