Followed that up with Spring Cleaner IPA. Yes, the Pic came too late.
Fly fishing? I usually use a swatter for flies…View attachment 34629After a day spent fly fishing (without catching) on the McKenzie River, this local brew is a good drink.
It has been too long since I brewed any beer. There is still a bag of grains that I bought to brew last summer, but it never happened. At the end of September 2025, my wife and I both took a long hiatus from alcohol. At that point we were both drinking entirely too much. After a routine blood test, she was diagnosed with fatty liver disease, and was recommended to avoid alcohol. As an expression of support, I quit with her. My abstinence lasted 4 months, while she is dry since last October 1. Though I am drinking again, I try to limit myself to no more than 2 beers. Such is life at 60.
In any case, I look forward to sharing pictures of my own home brewed beer.
nice lacing

Citra Mosaic extract pale ale
With the lighter SRM and no crystal malt, I should've pulled back on the IBUs a bit.
One of the best!Currently drinking an Old Speckled Hen. It's been a hot minute since I've been on this forum.
that looks like a giant glassCitra Mosaic extract pale ale
With the lighter SRM and no crystal malt, I should've pulled back on the IBUs a bit. It's also still young and still in the fermenting keg and with the dry hop tube. I'm sure it would mellow out if I transferred to a serving keg
