Boy…If I had a nickel for every fire finch that made its nest on my CO2 cylinder…I got a wee little problem in pouring beer as a fire finch has decided to make its nest on top of my CO2 cylinder.
I've managed to carefully open the valve a bit and am now relying on the hose & connection bit to stop the CO2 flow when not needed
The bird is still around the nest![]()
welcome to the dark side of pale malt lol
It happens to us all.I removed a bird's nest from the top of my CO2 cylinder and moved the cylinder to my fridge.
I'll now be carbing inside the fridge which is totally new to me
Fingers crossed with regards to condensation.
I also cleaned my empty keg & picnic tap & beer line and attached open picnic tap to the 2nd keg.
Result: half a glass of beer in the glass and the other half evenly divided by my T-shirt and inside of fridge
Well, maybe except the birds nest on the Co2 bottle thing...It happens to us all.
You're right about. I would have real issues if that happened since me stuff is in my basement.Well, maybe except the birds nest on the Co2 bottle thing...
That's is unnerving! It's been about 30 days for me (there's approx. 8 gallons of kegged beer ready to drink here) and I'm chomping at the bit.Going on 64 days since I brewed. We plan to be in the new house next weekend. So hopefully the following I can brew
It sucks but, a bigger house is certainly worth the delay in brewing. A couple years ago I had a lengthy dry spell due a kitchen remodel project. It was very frustrating not being able to brew for so long.Going on 64 days since I brewed. We plan to be in the new house next weekend. So hopefully the following I can brew
