Tell me about cryo hops

Have you used them? Substitution ratio to T90 pellets? They sound like a great candidate for dry hopping. I haven't used them yet.

The IBUs are usually 2-3 times what the same hop pellets would be. Just use them according to the IBUs you want anywhere in the boil and you'll be fine. They're especially good for concentrating flavors in late additions, whirlpool and dry hops. If you use them in whirlpool, you'll get some pretty good IBU contribution so make sure your utilization rate is set at a good place to make it fairly predictable.

Yes; as "whirlpool"/"hop steep" additions, but not as a dry hop. For hop types, it's been mostly Citra, but occasionally Centennial, Cascade, Amarillo, Chinook.

MoreBeer and YVH seem to have the best variety of cryo hop types.

Substitution ratio to T90 pellets?

As a starting point, I substitute 1/2 oz cryo for one oz T90.

With a more hops flavor with less vegitive matter in the kettle or the fermenter, it's easy to see how a triple IPA with 26 ounces of hops in an 11 gallon batch will get a better end product!
If I'm recalling correctly, cryo is about 1/2 of pellet use. Being in the malt forward family, I've never used them personally but there's plenty of usage recommendations out in the community but like so many things in home brewing, no real hard and fast rules other than what you want it to be and how your system works and your personal taste and visual appeal.

I use them in the whirlpool (can’t remember if I ever dryhopped with them though). I make a lot of IPAs.

I use them almost exclusively. You can use them exactly as you would with normal t90. Generally speaking you would use them at about half the total weight of t90, BUT some crop years are more like 3 times the strength so use them at roughly 1/3 total weight.

I use them because i am so tight on volume in my kettle/fermenters.
