There has been a "Terry Fox Run" in Canada since 1980 to raise money for cancer research. My former father in law has been the run organizer in my hometown since day one. My daughter is restarting the run this year in Hinton Alberta, the organizers there stopped doing it when Covid hit. She has been at every run since she was a wee baby, and is herself a cancer survivor having dealt with a melanoma a few years ago.

In 1980 he ran past my house, but I missed it, I believe that it was just pre dawn when he ran by.

If you weren't aware, he was an amputee, he ran on a prosthetic leg. He basically ran a marathon every day totalling 3,339 miles. I met his parents many years ago at a event.

Terry is a Canadian cultural Icon

This is a cheese slice....
This cheese slice was left over from our "guys weekend island cottage retreat" from September 2024....
Said "guys weekend island cottage retreat" for 2025 is this weekend. Steve is saying that he will bring it and put it on his burger Friday night. I personally would not, but I am sure it will be fine...

To not have any mold after a year it must be a pasteurized cheese, like American cheese, Or it's individually wrapped like Kraft Singles, which doesn't have enough cheese in it to be called cheese, at least not in the US where it is labeled "cheese product".

It is not a cheese slice. It is a piece of pasteurized process cheese food. Big difference. If not stored warm, it is good (for Steve, not you) to eat.
