Craig, considering, it isn't a whole lot cheaper here. I think I paid $4.27 US on Saturday. I have not seen it much cheaper than that locally, at least for the credit card price. A few pennies here and there, but not much cheaper. We are up to $1.70 per liter here for gasoline, which would about $6.60 CDN per US gallon. With the currency exchange (weak CDN$), it would work out to approximately $4.81USD for a US gallon
check tommorrwI just paid 3.329/gal for Regular (87) at Sam’s club today. Still reasonable.
3.379.check tommorrw
You should try 301 or 15 to get around that part of 95. I've avoid 95 as much as I possibly can and have saved time, gas and hair!I hear you; I rode my bike from NoVA to RTP, in / around Raleigh for work a few years ago. The day of the return trip was Texas hot- 98F when I left at 11 am and only went up from there. I had to stop every 40 minutes to rehydrate. It was 102-103 in Petersburg, 104 in Richmond. It was so hot, opening the face shield on my helmet was like turning on a blow dryer. Despite this, i was making good time. Until I hit Woodbridge, VA on I95. Parking lot. I dove for US1, same thing. after 10 minutes I had to put in for a/c and water at a local bank. I chilled, literally, for about an hour to make the last 20 minutes.
