what do you ride a bicycleLots of causes. I use maybe 10 gallons of fuel a week, and now it is a dollar more a gallon, so $10 a week. Still stupid cheap compared to Europe.
Me, not so much. Only my wife's sedan breaks 20mpg regularly. My Mustang is struggling to get 17mpg. Not that I'm making it easy, she's got 850hp to the wheels, so my fuel and tire budget dwarfs my brewing budget right now.No, a diesel sedan that gets 32 mpg around town, and 40 on the highway. Atlanta to Richmond (VA) on a tank.
But yeah, an extra $3 for a jug of propane is the cost of doing business, I suppose.

I hear you; I rode my bike from NoVA to RTP, in / around Raleigh for work a few years ago. The day of the return trip was Texas hot- 98F when I left at 11 am and only went up from there. I had to stop every 40 minutes to rehydrate. It was 102-103 in Petersburg, 104 in Richmond. It was so hot, opening the face shield on my helmet was like turning on a blow dryer. Despite this, i was making good time. Until I hit Woodbridge, VA on I95. Parking lot. I dove for US1, same thing. after 10 minutes I had to put in for a/c and water at a local bank. I chilled, literally, for about an hour to make the last 20 minutes. The last half-hour killed me, stop & go traffic.
