Well just filled a few 20 gal propane tanks $15 cash was $12 a few months ago so that is not bad surprisingly
Got petrol today $3.83 month ago paid $2.78
CO2 was already expensive

Lots of causes. I use maybe 10 gallons of fuel a week, and now it is a dollar more a gallon, so $10 a week. Still stupid cheap compared to Europe.

what do you ride a bicycle:oops:
propane wont break me
gas will probably run me quite a bit with the summer months
RV, Boat road trips
that's why we don't live in Europe ;)

No, a diesel sedan that gets 32 mpg around town, and 40 on the highway. Atlanta to Richmond (VA) on a tank.

But yeah, an extra $3 for a jug of propane is the cost of doing business, I suppose.

Me, not so much. Only my wife's sedan breaks 20mpg regularly. My Mustang is struggling to get 17mpg. Not that I'm making it easy, she's got 850hp to the wheels, so my fuel and tire budget dwarfs my brewing budget right now.

Every time I start her up, I get personal thank you notes from local refineries.

Pictures or it isn't real!

Luckily our petrol didn't get up much.
Excise duties ate removed for the time being. Diesel did go up, but I don't use it luckily.
My car is not very economical, but I don't drive much.

Just exchanged a 5 litre CO2 cylinder. That was about 55 U$ and a bit more expensive than a 19 litre gas cylinder (content only).

I had a 64 1/2 red with a black rag top
Got in a trade for my 65 ford supervan
My friend needed a place to live
I remember throwing in $25 cash
That was in 72 just before the first oil embargo
When gas was cheap

The last half-hour killed me, stop & go traffic.
I hear you; I rode my bike from NoVA to RTP, in / around Raleigh for work a few years ago. The day of the return trip was Texas hot- 98F when I left at 11 am and only went up from there. I had to stop every 40 minutes to rehydrate. It was 102-103 in Petersburg, 104 in Richmond. It was so hot, opening the face shield on my helmet was like turning on a blow dryer. Despite this, i was making good time. Until I hit Woodbridge, VA on I95. Parking lot. I dove for US1, same thing. after 10 minutes I had to put in for a/c and water at a local bank. I chilled, literally, for about an hour to make the last 20 minutes.

We are up to $1.70 per liter here for gasoline, which would about $6.60 CDN per US gallon. With the currency exchange (weak CDN$), it would work out to approximately $4.81USD for a US gallon

I’ve seen regular (87) for under US$3.50 fairly often, but our governor has suspended the fuel taxes until late May, making it noticeably less expensive. (Georgia runs a budget surplus, so we can afford the break).
