Permanent Vacation

Congrats and best of luck going forward! :)

Were you able to find a buyer for the brewery?
Unfortunately no, but that was to be expected.
Lots of interest but hey couldn't afford the building.
It's what I expected.
The commercial broker expected an 8-12 month sale on the building.
So now I start to liquidate.
Anyone want a 1BBL fermentor?

For a long time I pushed at the edges of "going pro". Nothing would make me happier or suit my sensibilities better than a cozy brew-pub with a half-dozen beers on tap and an interesting menu of simple food offerings. Unfortunately, small, neighborhood establishments are just not very viable in most places in this country. Real estate and commercial rentals are just not friendly to tight-margin, labor-of-love business ventures. Now, I don't think I have the energy it would take to run even a very small operation. :)

Good luck in your new journey. When things drastically change, it is going to be a journey. Sometimes, there are a few bumps in the road, and sometimes, you learn a little something about yourself.
