New equipment

I have been having all king off problems with my "old" DIY kettle, leakages, fried heating element. Not planning to give up just yet, just changing course and bought new equipment.

Kind of cheap all in one equipment, but at first glance seems ok device.

I just bought a 35L digiboil I was worried about boiling 6.5 gallons in it but I did do a 6 gallon (preboil) and I watched it like a hawk
mine is the 110w

Looks like a Brewzilla, which are sold out of Australia but made in China. I suppose that they just decided to get into the business themselves and cut out the Australian middleman. China is good at doing that.

I have some Vevor stuff (they make a lot of things, and none of what I have of theirs is brewing equipment) and it is actually fairly good quality.

Under 300 Euro is a good price.

I see the control panel is at the bottom of the unit, terrible design if you ask me. I have a Brewzilla, same basic design, I did a DYI remote control panel upgrade on mine. This one seems to have a higher maximum volume than the Brewzilla, I still don't understand why they call it a Brewzilla 35, the max volume is 30L.

Vevor makes some decent stuff. I got a refrigerated cooler for camping from them. Works really well

Can't comment on the AIO, it could be a good set up. This poster from the website is a little curious, what's a "perfect flat head" or "too gassy and light taste" or "inadequate fermentation"? Maybe something was lost in translation.

I thought the brewzilla and the digiboil are the same product
the digiboil 35 is a full 35L to the top of the kettle but obviously cant boil that amount
Like I mentioned I would be very nervous boiling more than maybe 21L which is where I start

actually was only going to use this as a mash tun because people said it would take to long to heat water to a boil which I dont\'t see as a problem
when reaching a boil I let it roll at 1500w or less anything more is asking for trouble and unnecessary. Going from mash out temp to a boil of 6 gallons takes no more than 20 minuets which I'm fine with.

Buddy from work bought also same as mine, he did 19l batch already with it.
Couple of observations:
- Hop basket is no good if you want to keep all away from worth, boils over
- Overflow pipe was not that easy to clean, too rough from edges, needed some work to take those off(mine, buddys
was fine)
+ Price of course
+ size/volume is ok
+ 9 step recipe memory seems pretty handy
+- Circulation pump is strong enough and also too strong, with 5kg grain bed it moves mash faster from bottom than goes through grain bed. if valve is completely open i mean.
Was little worried about 2500W power, my old kettle is 3000W but it wasn´t that much slower. From 14 dergee to boiling in 1h and from 6 degree to 72 was about 45min

This is Chinese also, Vevor EU storages at Germany, Czech and Spain i think.
I have Vevor pump in my old set up, that is worked pretty nicely so far.

Yeah place of that control panel is not the best.

Not overly difficult, different ways to go about it. I have been meaning to do a thread on it here, just haven't found the time. The pictures I have from when I did it aren't the greatest. I will try to get it done soon.
