Today, I visited Back River Brewery on beautiful (even in winter) Tybee Island, GA, where our own
@Bigbre04 is the master brewer. And having sampled the entire tap list, I’m not using the term “master brewer” lightly. This guy can brew.
He basically has a hotplate and spaghetti pot, out if which comes 4 half-kegs of surprisingly good beer. The Hefeweitzen is as good as anything I’ve made, and his Bock is spot on.
We had lunch, and their chef (much more than a cook) makes really good food, especially in a very tourist town.
