I brewed today!

Blonde Ale today. Basically, a palette cleanser between the conditioning Irish Stout and the next in line English Porter. :p

3 gallons, cooling down to about 60F before I set the blow-off and gradually raise temp.

Man I really liked the flavour post boil before racking to kegmenter had a great ginger flavour and some lemon going on even though no lemon myrtle has gone in yet. I can only attribute this to the citric acid addition interesting! Gunna try this more in my fruited brews even my cider cool lernt something today

What yeast will you pitch? I'm surprised that you only hit 1.040 on this brew with the amount of sugar.

As a ginger comparison:
I'm using about 20 gr for a 10 litre batch, for that "just a bit more than a whiff of ginger".
It's about double from my last wheat with ginger

I brewed another Bunyip today! But didn't take any pictures lol. The wort is currently on the front porch chilling. I'll pitch the yeast tonight or tomorrow, depending on what temp it gets to.
Uh..huh..Suuurre you did. You know the rules: no pictures, it didn’t happen. :p
