That's been the plan all along; there's also a Hamm's club and a Hamm's museum that may be interested in buying it.

Finally got the eBay "Free 2-4 Day Shipping" gold jack plate after 10 days, so that completes the build. Plays and sounds great, no buzzes, hangs right.
I emailed the Hamm's collector club and the Hamm's Museum today to see if anyone bites.

I gotta say...I kinda want that guitar. Not that I need any more than I already have and could build pretty much anything else I wanted. That thing is just goofy enough in concept and unique enough (and looks to be quite nicely executed, as well) that the cool factor is very, very high, indeed.

If you take a few pics, I'll show it around. I have an acquaintance who runs a funky bar/venue and it's just the sort of thing he'd have hanging on the wall. And if it plays pretty well, it would probably get used.

I'd not begrudge that price, by any means.
My favorite part is the damn bear! I remember watching those commercials featureing the Hamm's Bear when I was a kid.

Seems like a great deal to me, I'm just not in the market for a guitar, not to mention I am out of country.
