I've been on a ridiculously long break from homebrewing and I'm excited to be back.
I've been brewing off-and-on since 1995, I live outside of New Orleans, I finally have a chest freezer and an immersion chiller, and my latest beers are a British strong ale and and amber ale.
I think that covers the main stuff.
So, how have y'all been?

Welcome back. Everyone needs a break once and a while

We're doing great. FINALLY, we can all brew some beer now. Been waiting for you the whole time.

Thanks, sorry I ghosted you. Not sorry for vanishing from Facebook though. Never going back there.

I looked back through some of your old posts and I realized that there are a dozen or more usual suspects that we just don't see anymore. I had a few years off of brewing and wasn't hanging out here, either. It's good to be active in the community again. Maybe we'll see some of the other "old timers" coming back on line. :)
Welcome back!

a lot has changed since 2000
foremost is we don't have to harvest yeast anymore and everyone has switched to BIAB or all in one brewing which is pretty much the same thing
you missed the whole kettle sour fun
many other changes but those are what popped into my head anyway
