Craigerrr's Travels

We got pretty close to 2 feet yesterday and overnight
Don't you mean 60 cm?

All kidding aside, it sucks to get that much snow so late in the season. You are always are thinking in the back of your mind that spring is just a week away, then you get nailed. Hopefully it doesn't affect your trip in a bad way and it goes away soon.

61cm...
Supposed to be 4C and some rain this afternoon, and mostly plus temperatures for the next several days. We fly home next Thursday.

It's -11 and snowing in Edmonton right now.

4C and sun here, a good half or more of the 2 feet we got has melted away. We were in Terrace yesterday, 45 minutes north of here, they basically had no snow at all.
The snow they get here is like the lake effect snow they get in Buffalo. The moisture is picked up from the Douglas Channel.

Yeah the two times I've been to Kitimat have been interesting. The environmental changes as you travel inland are wild.

brr. I'm cold just looking at that.

I am going to nominate Ireland as the truest "4 seasons in 1 day" experience. I've had it go from ~high 30's F to about 75F, go from bright sun, to drizzle, to downpours only whispered of and right back to bright sun all before 3PM.
