Yeah mate now that you mention it lol!
Will get a rattle on maybe around 20th or something...
I still haven't brewed the Man Pee...
It was a slower quarter for my brewing than I expected
All in good time Man No Need to rush
Just fit it in your que at some point, it is well worth the effort!
Quoted for truth. Excellent beer.
My Manni Pees will be ready to package when I get home. I doubled the IBUs and ended up with a really good drinking beer!
It’s good pee
Little known stupid trivial fact. Did y'all know that in Brussels there is also a statue of a pissing girl? She has not been around as long, so not as well known. They also put a barrier around her to keep the tourists from playing grab ass. The Dutch, I suppose. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...FjAGegQIDRAC&usg=AOvVaw3fFuqQB4-BnySFYJ3rocUS
Mine is already gone.
I saved about 3 liters to see how it ages. It takes willpower to not crack them open.
Thanks to your finer half right?
Predominantly yup. It was extremely popular.
Ya know, friends say Alan's Pee was the best brew in a while.
Even though it hurts my pride - I like to think they're all good - I will definitely brew it again. After another batch of Wayner's.
This quarterly community brew is absolutely wonderful for introducing new recipes and styles. Love it!
I echo this sentiment.
Each brew to date has been one that I will definitely brew again. Wayner's was right in my wheelhouse as everyone knows. The Shady, and "The Tinkle O' The AL", have both been styles I would bever have brewed, but will absolutely be brewing again!
Agreed on all parts, I should go back and do a Wayners now that I want hoppy beers on tap again.
Well guys I am chuffed that you like my effort and agree with you all that brewing out of your comfort zone is a good way to broaden tastes. I am definitely doing Wayner's and The Bo again myself. I have yet to tackle many of the other European styles so there is a lot of brewing to do out there.
My daughter bought me some beers for Father's Day (this coming weekend here)
Cheers to all.
Yup, here too.
I asked my kids to bring me to a brewery on Saturday (Sunday will be mad), they drive...
I have all of the ingredients ready to brew the Q2 Community Recipe tomorrow. Since my lhbs did not have any dry yeast that reasonably matched the original, I opted for liquid yeast (WLP500) and have a starter going right now. This recipe is taking me out of my usual lane, so I am excited and hopeful for a good result.
It was the same deal for me, it is good to try new things!
Same it's a tasty drop herm you'll be pleasantly surprised
