I’m looking for an all grain recipe to create a Michelob Lager clone, any help is much appreciated.
I think Eric Clapton rearranged and re-recorded that for the commercial. I think it’s his best rendition of that song.Best.
Beer commercial.
EVER.
Thank youAssuming you are trying to clone the original beer, it’s just an International Lager. The recipe is really simple.
Rahr Northstar Pils (100%} or another North American pils.
Any noble hop, bitter to 15 IBU (60 min)
You can add a small 10 minute hop addition for some aroma.
All RO water with equal chloride and sulfate addition. 2.5 grams each should get you there for 5 gallons.
Ferment with 34/70 @ 55F or so (2 packs)
Lager for 4-6 weeks.
Simple, but not necessarily easy.
Edit: SG should be in the 1.048-1.050. FG should be @1.010. I prefer this beer at 1.050, it gives a little more body and malt character.
