That looks tasty
I'm brewing a Wheat next up
That sounds like a nice combo
I have a lot of Citra to use up
I don't have any spelt at this but have used it in some historical beers before
Where did you get the recipe or is it yours

That’s my recipe. I love the combination of Nelson and Citra (and I use both in that Lemon Saison I posted). I initially drew up the recipe as an “American Spelt” (instead of Wheat), but decided to hop it up more like a Pale. It’s pretty damn tasty. I think Spelt is the most underused malt in brewing. It does everything that Wheat does, but better…more flavor, more mouthfeel, more foam positive. The trade off is the haze, if that matters.

Met a friend at Bavarian Bierhaus for his birthday and some WC soccer this weekend. I think the place is a bit of a tourist trap, but I will say their imported beer is fresh. I had a couple of liters of Hacker-Pschorr Muncher Dunkel that was quite delicious (this was following a 2-liter boot of some Helles... fun birthday bash).
