Looking to brew Red.
Not real concerned with West Coast or Irish.
I did find a West Coast Red recipe that contains the following:
10.75 lb MO
8 oz C60
8 oz C120
4 oz Choc Rye
Would like opinions on leaving the grain bill as is or subbing the crystal and choc rye for Red X Malt and / or Cara Red Malt.
Never brewed this style. Did have an Irish Red recently which kinda tasted like an Amber but want a more Red tint.
