"SM"/"SH" tab in some recipes?

What is that? It appears in some recipes, doesn't seem to do anything when you click it and then disappears when some changes to the recipe are made.
It's at the top right of the fermentables/top left of the hops.

Never mind...it's "Single malt/Single Hops" Not sure what it's function is, but that's the connection.

It's a recipe search option now too. Notice some of the recipes it leads to aren't SMASH though.

I noticed that, too. It did seem that the ones that had more than one fermentable included adjunct and not necessarily other malts.
