These two calculators appear to offer conflicting opinion on ABV. AI gone mad? (...or daft user)

Example (both using the alternative ABV equation):

In the refractometer calc, using Part II enter OG 16.1b and FG 7.6b. This results in the following...
OG - Corrected:
16.10 °P, 1.066
FG - Corrected:
2.53 °P, 1.010
Alcohol By Volume:
7.37%

In the ABV calculator, enter the plato found above (16.1 - 2.53). This results as...
Alcohol By Volume:
7.64%
Apparent Attenuation:
84%
Calories:
215.2 per 12oz bottle
Original Gravity:
16.10 °P, 1.066
Final Gravity:
2.53 °P, 1.010

Notice the ABV differs?

My 'unearthing' of this contradiction was in an attempt to find the apparent attenuation when using the refractometer calculator, and so as an aside from the potential bug here can I also request this information be included in the refractometer calc page?
 
Kinda surprised no response to this one. Pretty essential component of the software and is a glaring flaw!

When I choose the standard equation on the ABV calc I get the same ABV %, when I choose the alternate equation I get what you are seeing. So that's the difference. Here is an article on the standard vs alternate, https://www.brewersfriend.com/2011/06/16/alcohol-by-volume-calculator-updated/
 
No both examples given are using the alternative abv equation. I do clearly state this outright.
