Hello folks,
The time has arrived to get my own rig. I found https://www.brewbuilder.co.uk/ which deliver amazing goods to good prices ( personal opinion based on what I can find in Europe ). Seeing that I am from Romania, where this kind of stuff is not available, I need to order it from UK.
I was thinking the following:
MASH TUN:
50 L Mash tun: https://www.brewbuilder.co.uk/high-end-mash-tuns.html ( it is heavily insulated )
False bottom: https://www.brewbuilder.co.uk/custom-cut-false-bottom.html
Tap: https://www.brewbuilder.co.uk/3-way-ball-valve-l-port.html
Temp Dial: https://www.brewbuilder.co.uk/3-flexible-any-angle-temp-dial.html (No thermowell required )
+ additional cost for drilling the holes
HLT + Boil kettle:
2 x 50 L Pots: https://www.brewbuilder.co.uk/mk2-high-end-brew-pot.html
2 x Taps: https://www.brewbuilder.co.uk/weldless-3-piece-tap-kit.html
2 x Elements: https://www.brewbuilder.co.uk/3kw-lwd-ripple-element.html
2 x Temp Dials: https://www.brewbuilder.co.uk/3-flexible-any-angle-temp-dial.html ( No thermowell required )
2 x Tubes: https://www.brewbuilder.co.uk/1/2-pickup-tube-xl.html
+ additional cost for drilling the holes
Additional:
Plate chiller: https://www.brewbuilder.co.uk/125kw-30-plate-chiller.html
HERMS coil for the HLT: https://www.brewbuilder.co.uk/25ft-herms-coil.html ( recirculating wort and keeping the temperature )
2 x Pumps: https://www.brewbuilder.co.uk/ts5-mini-mag-pump.html
10 m Hose: https://www.brewbuilder.co.uk/silicone-hose.html
Stainless steel hose clips: https://www.brewbuilder.co.uk/ss-hose-clips.html
And of course fittings of all kind, cables glands for the elements and what not, which I confess, I know nothing about.
For the temperature control in the HLT, I was thinking of https://homebrewshop.be/en/measurin...let-thermostat-temperature-controller-eu.html which should do the trick.
They also have these TC pots: https://www.brewbuilder.co.uk/tc-tanks.html - but unsure if the higher price means better quality
And stainless steel fermenters: https://www.brewbuilder.co.uk/standard-fv.html - I know they are flat bottomed, but at that price, they look very cool.
Let me know what you think.
