What did you get delivered today

I put all the parts in starsan and ran starsan through it to make sure it worked. Didn’t use a cleaner though.
I will give mine go with starsan tonight, see how the flow control works

Worked well for me. We’ll see if it leaks or drips.

Yes. And it is finicky with turning off for me. I did not get the self closing spring. If closed off good I won’t say it dripped but the faucet cap I put on it to catch anything had a touch of liquid.

I think you need to get the spring...

Nothing else dripped since those few drops. I think I’ll like this tap.

Wife got me a couple hydrometer for Christmas.

One is an antique, more than 100 years old. Not sure what range it measures yet. All the parts are stamped with the same QC code, so you know they are go in the same kit.

The EasyDens is a nice piece of equipment
The beer club i go to has a sales guy for anton par. He said the measure block on the east dens is the same as the $3500 one. Only difference is that it doesn't have a display, no sampler built in to draw a sample.

He said the easy dens is a crazy deal for what it does

My Mom bought me a Picnic Tap 2.1, and it actually fits on top of the keg with the very limited headspace that I have. Thanks, Mom!! Maybe I can even pour something that looks decent coming up. Sunfire always makes me jealous doing that:)

That is very cool. Of course it has a variable range: the disks take care of that. I guess start with water, but tbh I think it is too nice to use. Purple silk and black velvet!

Finally getting away from the glass carboys without the relatively large investment in Stainless Steel conicals that I had been eyeing up. For me, after a fair amount of research and Googling and YouTube-ing and various other resources, We've decided on the Brew Bucket from Ss Brewtech. Now we've gotta get ready for its maiden voyage. :)
you can't go wrong with the brew bucket so much easier to clean the only advantage of the conical is you can grab some yeast while your beer is still fermenting If that situation comes up I just top crop

I received a digital subscription to BYO I had the print version until they stopped publishing. I'ts nice because its real easy to search the archives
my got to resource for brewing related questions. I find the articles are vetted and the recipes from the actual breweries are fun way to get ideas
