Random thought for the day

Late-night over-the-air TV has some really odd stuff that I use my DVR to capture. I get over 60 digital channels here, even though 55 of them are garbage, every once in a while you get a gem. Like old ‘Whats my line’ episodes with Soupy Sales, or Jackie Gleason in Gigot. Or Bugs Bunny from 1942.

Bugs Bunny. Awesome!. H&I is on the antenna, and they have all the Star Treks 6 days a week at night.

It’s 35 degrees and I have to Coach 9-10 year olds for little league opening day.
Fun WOW!
I have some pallies coming over tonight to have a few pints and watch the Leafs vs Habs game! Go Leafs!

21 years in HS athletics. Much easier to coach the older ones. Should be a fun day though. Small town really does it up. Last night we had a parade through town with all the teams and led by fire trucks and police cars.

That's awesome!

As opposed to those not healing??

Perhaps it could be reduced to ‘injuries suck’. And they do.
Sure, but my point is the action (or lack thereof) and time required to heal them sucks in particular. Did injuring my back suck? Absolutely. But what sucks even more is that it's still considered a "healing" injury despite it being years later. I really, really hope my hand gets back to normal within a month. But honestly no one knows how much time and effort it will take, and that sucks

Shame girl, but it will get better!
At least I hope so for you

I spent about 3 hours in the yard yesterday getting things to look halfway decent. I went down, and had two beers and some lunch. When I came home, the only thing I could think about was lying down in bed and watching stupid things on TV. I guess Jimmy Buffett was right, "Getting old is not for sissies".
It probably did not help going out on Friday with the knowledge that I was Ubering home either:)

I thought I had everything figured this last year: Make the meals on Sunday, and reheat the casserole dish during the week. I found out tonight that they do explode in the oven. I may have to let them sit on the counter for a couple of more minutes from now on after coming out of the fridge.
At least I know how to clean the glass out from the oven. Damn!
