WARNING: Kettle losses > 2% detected which throw off OG calculation for extract/partial mash recipes in batch target 'fermentor' mode. Solution: Reduce kettle losses, misc losses and hops absorption in equipment profile, OR set batch target to 'kettle' and do a full wort boil. See batch target FAQ.

Notes

Use water killed vanilla beans. Split, chop and add to 8 oz of vodka and swirl it periodically. Let it soak for 8h. Put all of it in primary.

Cold-brewed guatamala coffee (enough medium ground coffee to make 12c in a standard pot, added to a pitcher of water). After a few hours, pour the brewed coffee off filtering out the grounds, and add this to the boil about 10m before flame out.

Let fermentables (sans LME) ride the temperature drop from 165 all the way to 140. I squeezed the grain bag. Tannins should not be present at only 165. Any husk flavor is favorable for this recipe but omit based on preference.
