Notes

Based on Long Trail Brewing Co's "Long Trail Ale" Clone
From "Replicator" by Michael Bury, Brew Your Own, December 2018, pp. 16-17.

Adjusted the amount of 2-row from 4.1 kg to 3.5 kg, to account for my higher brew house efficiency and thus bring the ABV in-line with the recipe.

5.4 AAU Northern Brewer @ 60 mins
2.7 AAU Northern Brewer @ 30 mins
2.75 AAU Willamette @ 5 mins

The BU:GU in the magazine's recipe is 0.57, which is low for a true Northern German altbier (0.65). Since I like bitterness, I've targeted 0.65.
