WARNING: Kettle losses > 2% detected which throw off OG calculation for extract/partial mash recipes in batch target 'fermentor' mode. Solution: Reduce kettle losses, misc losses and hops absorption in equipment profile, OR set batch target to 'kettle' and do a full wort boil. See batch target FAQ.

Notes

Cane sugar can be subbed for corn sugar (or corn syrup), whichever's cheaper. 32 oz. of carrot juice is 1/4 gallon... it contains about 5% sugar, so it won't add much to OG.

I edited the recipe slightly away from matching this style's OG and %abv, but it's just because DME comes in 3 lb. bags. It's only slightly higher than the style suggests, which isn't a bad thing, right?
