Notes

PRELIMINARY DATA:
From MoreBeer! - Expecting 1.044 OG
Target Pre-Boil OG at 7.0 Gallons is 1.038 (Based on calculator)

6.0 Gal Target + (10.5 lb malt 0.25 qt) grain loss + 0.75 gal/hr boil loss = 7.41 Gallons Strike Water

MASH:
Ambient Temp. - 75F
156F Strike -> 153F Post Mash In -> 149F after 20 min. -> 143F after 40 min. -> 143F
after 60 min.
Added Grill Cover

PRE-BOIL:
7.0 Gallons After Grain Bag Pulled.
Temp. Corrected Pre-Poil OG = 1.040

BOIL:
60 Min. Boil
NOTE: Protein break occurred 5-10 minutes after boiling started and initial foam went away. Surprised us at 5 minutes into 60 minute timer and after hops added.*

FERMENTATION:
Temp. Corrected OG = 1.044
Dropped to 76F.
Trub clogged outlet in last gallon, so we had to just let it in the primary.

Put in 45F fermentation chamber. Dropped to around 65F. Pitched. Set chamber to 60F.

Day 1 - Fermentation began. Set 1F high/low to tighten control. (Initially at 3F high/low)
