Yeast came..warm

Stupidly ordered a packet of yeast from Amazon. It is a dry yeast The package felt quite warm. Ruined?

Dried yeast is very very robust. Unless it got nuked to like 110 F for a long time, I'll bet it's just fine.

What kind of yeast? Brew a one gallon extract blonde or bitter and see what you get?

Lallemand Abbey for community brew. Sat 3 hours on porch. 80 degrees today

If you are paranoid make a starter and see if it kicks off but I have used dry yeast years out of date with god knows what kind of storage.

It is fine Josh. Dry yeast is quite durable.

I agree with everyone. Dry yeast can take some punishment other than contamination.
