What tubing do you guys use for hot transfer?

Oof,
I just threw away that packaging this past weekend when I made my hoses. :(

I did do hot transfer and didn't notice any issues.
I think the issue with pvc is that when it is cold it's hard to bend without kinking. Hot transfers can kinda melt in it. Not like a gooey melted mess, but still you can get plastic chemicals in your food. I wouldn't use it.

Good thick wall silicon is usually rated for 500°.

Yeah what a waste of money! It looks like the seller even changed their listing. I can't even contact them anymore since it's been past 30 days or whatever the cooldown on that is. Good thing my liquid wasn't above 200F. I just transferred 160F water into mash tun with it.

I complained to Amazon and they gave me a $20 promotional certificate but were unable to process the refund or return.

I do have to admit I saw that the packaging said PVC on it but thought it was a typo or mislabeling. You guys are right, better safe than sorry!
