What is the difference to do between 20 liters to 30

    Hi dear brewers.. i´m looking to do 30 liters of beer but i got a recipe by 20 liters.
    what is the difference if i only put more water or i need to add more malt?
    Somebody can help me?

    scale the recipe, edit recipe tools, then scale

    Or, quick and dirty, multiply everything by 1.5.

    If you just use more water the beer will only have 2/3 of the alcohol and much less flavor and body. If you want the beer to have any chance of tasting like the original, you need to scale it properly.
