I still like the Bierstadt solution in Denver: Since everything is on side pull, 1/2 beer, 1/2 foam.
man my tybee rednecks would LOSE THIER MINDS if i tried todo that lol. they already complain when there is the 1 - 2 fingers of foam on a proper pour!I still like the Bierstadt solution in Denver: Since everything is on side pull, 1/2 beer, 1/2 foam.
I hate flights to be honest but I have no choice on them.A flight should always be more expensive than a single pour of the same volume. More labor to dispense and clean.
I get that. Most local breweries are happy to pour a 1-ish ounce taste or three, but of course you’d best not abuse it. I usually taste one or two then buy a pint. I go by style, not description or name.I hate flights to be honest but I have no choice on them.
That was their 1/2 beer though. The full pint was just that.man my tybee rednecks would LOSE THIER MINDS if i tried todo that lol. they already complain when there is the 1 - 2 fingers of foam on a proper pour!
Ohhhh...there's a good question...in what order do you drink your flights?I typically only get a flight if I am at a brewery that I have never been to before. Providing of course that the beer lineup looks interesting enough. If the tap list looks boring though I will ask for a sample of what sounds the most promising...
I wish I could train my bartenders to be better at this! Always malty to hoppyOhhhh...there's a good question...in what order do you drink your flights?
Good approach...I used to do light to dark, now I just don't do them since I know what I like and am not interested in some mango-peanut butter, fruitlooped ipa.I wish I could train my bartenders to be better at this! Always malty to hoppy
Only if you can ping the far end...No, ‘cause I’m a nerd, I shout “Get off my LAN”. But if you venture to your front lawn in a bathrobe and nobody sees you, did it happen?

Actually, I would love to try that! Alas, I have never seen one in the wild.Good approach...I used to do light to dark, now I just don't do them since I know what I like and am not interested in some mango-peanut butter, fruitlooped ipa.
i just threw up a little in my mouth...it would probably be a 5.0 on untappd if they tossed 50lbs of lactose per bbl....could call it the "Lactose in-totallity perception peanut butter fruited milkshake juicy tripel IPA" or just go by the acronym LITPPBFMJTIPA...it rolls off the tongue....Actually, I would love to try that! Alas, I have never seen one in the wild.![]()
I usually go from light in color to dark, if multiples of either lower abv to high is the resort there. Mostly I save the porter/stout(s) for lastOhhhh...there's a good question...in what order do you drink your flights?

A local brewery makes a froot loops beer every do often. And several variants of Skittles beer, which they call smiggles. I’ll suggest a pnb/mango smiggles, and if they make it, I’ll send you a can.Actually, I would love to try that! Alas, I have never seen one in the wild.![]()
How about a Gose... with a goose?Peanut butter in beer is just wrong, same with pumpkin, not in a boat, not in a moat, not in a tree or under a house...
