Deli sliced is a must for that perfect Rubin, too. It is worth every cent for the perfectly sliced high quality deli meat. And, a buck to the slicer will make them remember you and that you appreciate their effort.

We ate at a Primanti Brothers back in November when we went to a Steelers game, didn't have sandwich though, had the burger which was exceptionally good!

I live near Nashville, TN, so there's a little bit of everything being a tourist destination. Hot chicken is probably what they are best known for, but there's a lot of great BBQ (mostly pork and chicken). Breakfast/brunch places take pride in their biscuits :)

St Louis has toasted ravioli. Really good, dip it in marinara.

Are there's any restaurants in Boston that make baked beans for the rest of the world to taste?
I went to a restaurant in Georgia called Hominy.....there was nothing on the menu with grits let alone hominy and the server did not know what hominy was.

If there is a restaurant in Georgia without grits or coastal Georgia without said grits and/or shrimp, there is s problem LOL.

I don't know if they still do it, but there was a place in Port Canaveral that did a brunch Shrimp and Grits with an egg on top. Yumm. I am going to Charleston this year so I am going to get some good stuff in a few months.

The local McDonalds does not sell grits. :rolleyes:

They need to take a lesson from the Mickie-D's in Hawaii where you can get an Eggamuffin or go local, Spam with eggs and rice...
