I asked for beer and got handed 2 cans of Carlsburg which is Danish or was. Odd right? Well it's crappy beer on a crappy airline. When I got to Dublin the first place gave me Guinness on CO2 was able to get it on nitro at a kiosk.

I got complimentary drinks on my flight home from British Columbia, the beer was Coors light, so I opted for Canadian Whiskey and Sprite, had a couple it was a nice flight!
Oh, I got the complimentary beverages because I was moved to a premium seat with actual leg room. Basically the center seat on each side of the plane was empty to balance the load.

Not really I've been on flights that had better beer options for example SW to Denver had lagunitas last time. And Lufthansa/Delta has comfortable seats

I love an empty plane !
All my flying is mostly international and drinks (incl booze) is free...
Well, not really, you pay for it somehow, just not per consumption

Fox Farm - Copestone Barleywine 2021

The flavors in this beer go on for days. Figs, port wine, coconut, chocolate, bourbon,…whew. Maybe it’s the vintage or the peak timing, but this is one damn fine Barleywine.
