I meant to ask you yesterday what yeast you used for your Munich Dunkle? - Also, what malts were used - you had it nice and dark - was it roasty at all?
I only added the Vienna since recipe builder said it may have trouble converting but it wasn’t needed
I enjoy a Vienna/Munich mix but I too find that Munich tends to convert itself just fine. Did you hit the FG or was it a bit higher? I like the look of the recipe - Much like my beers though - it did look darker than they described but it could have been the glass and the light too - a tall narrow lager glass may have given a different color. This is a style I hope to try soon myself. Thanks for sharing!
My numbers were close. I didn’t need the Vienna for conversion after all. I may go all Munich next time
