Tilt logging problem (TiltPi)

Hi all,

Just wondering if someone can point me in the direction as this one has me stumped...

I have used TiltPi with Brewer's Friend for several years. I recently purchased a new Tilt (different color) which I have configured in the TiltPi interface. It is also visible on the Tilt 2 app on my smartphone.

The TiltPi just is not sending data to the brew session.

'Red Tilt' is enabled for the brew session in BF and the API key has been copied into the TiltPi settings. I've even created a new one which isn't working either.

On the TiltPi, as usual, I have:

- Set the Beer Name
- Ignored the 'GMAIL email' (which is recommended to skip as this can be buggy)
- Set the Cloud URL to my API URL
- Enabled 'Start Logging to the Cloud'
- Set 'Time Interval' to 15 minutes

I've double checked the brew session and noticed that the slider toggle for 'ACTIVE' wasn't set for the red Tilt (I've never even noticed this before), but even after toggling this, I'm getting nothing.

Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Edit: I have been able to get the Tilt 2 app on my phone to connect and log a reading, but the TiltPi is still not playing. I have increased the Time Interval on the TiltPi from 15 minutes to 20 minutes, which usually would not be necessary but I thought to give it a go either way.

After setting the time interval to 20 minutes, this is now working again. I've then set it back to 15 minutes and it's fine.

No idea why it didn't work for well over an hour, but at least it's working now. The default 15 minute interval has always worked first time for me.

Mods - happy for this thread to be removed, I can't seem to find an option to remove it?

I’d like to leave it- it would be helpful to anyone who may have a similar issue in the future. This is a new one for me, so maybe it’s something with the Tilt interface.
