    Cool read, I will make the substitution on my next brew. Around then will be a good time to purchase a new bag of both malts to get my inventory back up!

    It would affect it some, but not a lot. And since you're talking about an IPA, you'd likely never notice the difference, the subtle difference would be completely overwhelmed by the hops.

    Nice recipe. I think you might get a bit more maltiness with the Maris Otter. Maybe a little more depth of flavor. But I agree with Nosybear, the hops are the star in that recipe.
