Just wanted to come back and say thanks again.......I t appears that my Tilts are not calibrated properly. Using a floating hydrometer at the 60 degrees my numbers are very close to expected. Lesson is that you can't move these tilts from house to house over five years and expect them to work without calibration. I will work on that later. Two brew days in 4 days and I am tired. LOL

They also MUST be recalibrated if you change the battery too. The batteries all weigh slightly different and it will 'tilt' differently

Yup, it will get done in two weeks. I guess my version of a tilt would be if I had too many beers before I looked at it LOL.
