Renovation and Remodelling Craigerrr's Bar

Picked up the bartop today, that is one heavy piece of wood! Red Oak 100" long, 32" wide, 1-3/4" thick. Must be close to 150 pounds. Just need to stain, and finish it.

That's not a bar top for slammers;). Natural stain or ... Beautiful wood.
 
Something just to kiss it and bring out that lovely grainy blush I would;). No use me kissing it then lol itd probably frown and bring out a stink eye!

Thinking of going with a medium dark grey tinted stain, then a satin finish. That piece of wood is damn hard, like a piece of stone! Going to be tough for anyone to put a dent in it.

Oh man I'd love to go check some of them beautiful timbers out one day I do love me some good wood:D!
