I forgot. You are in Canada where people actually give a shit about littering. That is commonplace around here, especially on Saturday night when the idiots in the fart cars like to throw out their booze bottles and McDonald's bags on the street on the side of my house because Mommy and Daddy never taught them manners or any sort of decency.

Don’t get me started. Today I asked a kid walking his two dogs to stop letting his dogs shit on my lawn. He denied it until I told him I have it on video. He also admitted he did not have any bags with him. Ten minutes later the dad rang my bell and threatened to call the police for “assaulting” his kid. I see where it came from.

This was my view during my brew yesterday. It was a beautiful day for brewing. I brewed a collab with Livio De Sanctus from Bra, Italy. We brewed a Smoked Pineapple Pale Ale. Livio, Adam from my brew club and I came up with the recipe. The whirlpool aroma was really nice, I hope the beer turns out.
We all brewed it the same day. Truly, an international collaboration.

Early in the quarterly brew series @Nosybear had us brew a Piwo Grodziskie with oak smoked malt. That was good. I also brew a pineapple SMaSH with El Dorado hops. Livio's recipe sounds like a mix of the two. I'll be very interested in the results of your beer.

I'll let you know. At first the smoke was super strong in the mash, then I got what smelled to me like old cow shit, I was a little worried. But when I started to add hops the whole thing changed and toward the end of the whirlpool the smoke took a back seat to the hops. I expect the smoke to come through once the beer is done fermenting. This is the first time I used BRU-1 hop, it's a fruit bomb.
