Only mildly venomous and doesn't bite easily.
But not a common snake so we were not sure.

annually in the United States on April 7, commemorating the day the Cullen-Harrison Act went into effect in 1933, which legalized the sale of beer in the U.S. after Prohibition. April 6 is sometimes referred to as "New Beer's Eve"
I'll drink to that!

I love Wyoming, it's like stepping back in time in some of those remote places. Very cool!

I got some pots & pans I can't move as there is a nest between them.
And on top of my gas bottle :)

Hmm. Fried eggs?
It’s a small price to pay. I wish I could put up a webcam.

Robins. The dad has the classic coloring.

We can now see at least three live chicks, they poke their heads up at feeding time.
We had a Carolina Wren nest on our balcony last year. We see the parents on our bird feeder almost daily, so I'm hoping they build on our patio again this year. It's fun watching the chicks and getting invested :D

They left several days ago. Once the chicks fledge, everyone abandons the nest. I get my patio back.

The days are so long here in Kitimat BC.
Sun sets behind the mountains around 10, but then it is still dusk until after midnight.
It then peaks up over the mountains at 5AM, but at that point it has been light out since 3AM.
This is our attempt to darken our bedroom, it is free to stay here so we can't really complain...
