No, I put a cap on each one as I fill it then crimp them when all are filled. You don't crimp immediately after filling each one? Interesting.
I do it the same way. Crimping after each one is too slow, gotta do it assembly line styleNo, I put a cap on each one as I fill it then crimp them when all are filled.
I have both a fancy upright Italian capper and a couple if Red cappers...and I prefer the Red one, it just works better.Red cappers rock!

I can also take those 4 bottles pretty easily in one trip over to the table for capping, you get a rhythm going.
It really does. I removed the bell on my red capper and installed it in the Italian oneI have both a fancy upright Italian capper and a couple if Red cappers...and I prefer the Red one, it just works better.
Awesome, as I keep thinking I should get an upright one, so you saved me a lot of money with that commentI have both a fancy upright Italian capper and a couple if Red cappers...and I prefer the Red one, it just works better.
That's what I do. I start with empties on the left, bottling bucket in the middle and filled & capped bottles on the right. Then I replace the bottling bucket with a bench capper and start crimping with everything going right to left. No, I put a cap on each one as I fill it then crimp them when all are filled.
