@Donoroto Would you think that the Sodium is SO4, or Na?Not terrible water, a tad high in sodium but not to worry. Unlikely a source of haziness. Good that they publish that, many of us had to buy a $45 water test to learn that.

At the end of the day, if the beer is good, the beer is good, eliminate the chloromine and make beer!
Water chemistry in brewing is really no different than balancing any other ingredients, like different malts, hops and yeast for different styles of beer. Time and experience brings knowledge and understanding.Agree on the chloride/sulfate ratio. I had the Wards Lab Brewers Test done (well spent money) and it told me what I had already learned. My water is good for dark brews like browns and not good for IPAs. Distilled water works, when needed. The advanced brewers know what to add to fix the balance in their water. A relatively cheap filter on my sink did wonders for water quality, both ale and coffee brewing.
