The shaft on the drive roller won't go through the adjustment cap. Even if it did, you'd still need to turn in reverse. Flipping end to end is the simplest way.

Ha!! With my luck....both. On the bright side, I emailed the company and they DID reply; after a few weeks wait anyway. They could not help me.

That is unfortunate for them, a negative result on product quality, and customer service reported on a forum like this = cancer to future sales...
