Just a follow up and thanks again for all the suggestions. Two batches since I last posted and both turned out excellent and were within respectable variations on volumes and gravity readings. Shared an APA (I call it a "citra forward APA") over Christmas with family and it was a hit. Overall I improved my temperature control, milling at home, and monitoring gravity readings more frequently.
Today I brewed my first SMaSH. Also used my Hopstopper 2.0 (Christmas gift) - it was an awesome addition to the brewery, worked flawlessly.
