Is a secondary necessary?

Sorry, I feel like I derailed this thread...
I may as well transfer to kegs for secondary/aging for these two batches. I always do closed transfers, and purge my kegs, thanks!

I'm moving to kegs for bulk aging. If i'm honest it's less about oxidation and more about the transfer process being so much simpler. Though I do see the lower oxidation as a big positive for my sours.

Ambient temp?
 
Yep, ambient, but the ground floor of our place has temperatures close to a cellar (no direct sunlight). So 12-15 C (53-60 F).
