Sorry for the confusion
I measure brix with the refractometer and SG with the hydrometer, so for me it seemed clear.
I forgot that you can also measure brix with a hydrometer:rolleyes:
Anyway, for clarity: OG of 14.5 with refractometer.
Uncorrected FG-refractometer 7, which gives a corrected FG of around 1.012.
Yeah...uncorrected reading didn't tell the whole story. An FG or 1.012 makes a lot more sense. :) The beer will likely be quite fine. I've never used kveik yeast but it's such a strange beast that I'm not surprised it would leave a rafty mess in the fermenter. :)

The conversion software here works well. I use a spreadsheet to convert refractometer readings, it's more precise than the finishing hydrometer I compared it to. Your corrected FG sounds pretty good for that starting gravity. I agree with Herms: It should be time to bottle.

Pro tip on refractometers, if you're only using them to determine if fermentation is done, you don't need to correct, all you need is stable readings over three days.

A refractometer is an essential tool for small batch brewers who don’t have the luxury of tossing samples 200 mL at a time.
Agree. I don't want to waste 200ml for 5 gallon batches.
And although the accuracy of a refractometer after fermentation is sketchy (even with a calculator) you can tell when fermentation is finished. If the reading doesn't change. Doesn't matter if it is right, no change = done
