I brewed today!

Experimental brewing with HBC 638 hops. I like doing 3 gallon SMASH experimental brews now and again with single ingredient modifications. Today is BIAB with 2 row and single hop of HBC 638 (13.7AA) for an IBU target of 55. Neutral yeast in BRY-97.

I was just sitting around today, so decided to do a second of 2 small "experimental batches". This one is a lager, using HBC 1134 hops and Lallemand Diamond Lager. I went for 4.5 gallons with a target ready by mid December. Gotta love a 5 hour brew day from start to finish.

Uffft.just about done for the day.
Did a double batch of a dark mild for some of my Mörk de Mild with Voss and I need to pitch a Scottish Ale yeast to serve as a base cake for some Albany Ale I'll make in a month or so.
Man ...did that shower feel good!

It looked like a washing machine for a moment…

Josh it was a classic British best bitter using Simpsons caramalt, crystal t50 and low colour maris otter.
East Kent and fuggles then dry hopped with harlequin.
Smells great just in fermentation now
