Harvested slurry - estimating cells per ml

I'm clearly the fly by night rebel around here but I'd just pitch one of those jars in a 1.050ish 5 gallon batch and call it a day personally.
Likely would be fine. I tend to try to pitch at pro brewer levels to ensure quick fermentation and best attenuation.

I'm close to the same. I grab 500 ml of my wort once the temp has got to around 80 after I've mashed. Cool it and add the slurry. Shake the crap out of it and leave it for four hours, then pitch.

That's what I was thinking of doing. Now that you've written this, I feel better about this plan.
