I thought the states was cheap compared to europe, but it seems roughly the same

most places around here, including amazon, it is $5 for one. so its a pretty good deal.
It's a very good deal.
Ritebrew is the best price I know of and has it for about 30¢ more each, but you'd have to pay shipping.
Pity it's not a variety pack of yeasts at that price.

Each to their own I've brewed with the same yeast 6 months atleast this year.
I save and re culture yeast as i go and serialy re pitch between every other brew if I'm lazy and havnt hopped it too much.
I've never gone a year on one yeast but I'm work on it

You'll find that's what alot of brewerys do some yeast don't hit their stride until 3rd Gen in.That just seems like work.
Not hard work at all I've always brewed like this I just build it into my process.

If it was another yeast, maybe, but I’m not in the Notty camp unfortunately. It’s a versatile yeast, no doubt. Rather fool-proof. But I can’t think of a single beer style where I wouldn’t prefer at least two or three other yeasts instead. YMMV.

Nottingham ferments crazy fast. Last one I did finished in three days. Great yeast for English Ales.
I think this is one of the few fermentations I've done with Nottingham I just so happened to take a video since if was going nuts!
